AVnu Alliance to host training session at ISE 2016

AVnu Alliance, the industry consortium driving open standards-based deterministic networking, announces an expanded Audio Video Bridging/Time Sensitive Networking (AVB/TSN) education initiative at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2016. This will begin with a half-day education training the day before ISE, hosted at the RAI, followed by a series of presentations and a Master Class throughout the ISE show programme. AVnu Alliance has been named an official InfoComm International Renewal Unit (RU) provider.

AVnu Alliance will continue its commitment to an ongoing education programme through its “Next Generation AV Network Fundaments and Design” Education Training Day on February 8, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CET at the Amsterdam RAI in room G107. AVnu Alliance members and experts will overview the evolution of standard Ethernet and delve into how Pro AV applications can take advantage of the AVB/TSN capabilities that are added to Ethernet. The half-day training program consists of three segments starting with a session on Principles of Digital Networking- IP/Ethernet and AVB/TSN history. Following the introduction, presenters will focus on Network Topology to explain end-user installation and configuration considerations. The final third of the day will cover TSN AV Solutions backed by installation and system architecture examples.

Attendees will also be treated to a demonstration of Axon Digital Design’s Ethernet AVB/TSN network backbone for broadcast video.

The training will be presented by Steve Carlson, president on High Speed Design, Inc. and AVnu Alliance trainer/consultant and Christian Diehl, product manager for intercom systems with Riedel Communications. Attendees will enter ISE 2016 with the ability to specify and configure an Ethernet-based AV Network. Guests are encouraged to attend a cocktail networking hour open to the public directly following the final education session.

The session is free and attendees qualify for 3 RU Credits. This will allow the more than 9,000 professionals holding InfoComm International’s Certified Technology Specialist credential to earn renewal units towards their certification by completing the AVnu alliance education program on February 8, 2016.

RSVP is required for the AVnu Alliance hosted Training Day on February 8.
