IBC2025: Megahertz and Mediability join forces

Megahertz and Mediability have announced that the two companies are to be integrated, with the two systems integrators joining forces to tackle the industry’s most demanding challenges.
Megahertz Ltd and Mediability AS have announced their intention to integrate operations, uniting decades of experience across live production, IP workflows, and AV installations. The move brings together complementary strengths across broadcast, corporate, education, and government sectors – creating a stronger, more agile partner for complex technology projects, the firms said.
Megahertz is a global systems integrator headquartered in Cambridgeshire, UK, while Mediability is an engineering-driven systems integrator based in the Nordics, delivering hybrid IP, cloud, and traditional broadcast solutions across broadcast.
The integration is being formally launched at IBC2025 in Amsterdam, where Megahertz is exhibiting in Hall 12 (stand 12.D22). Mediability has designed and built a full corporate studio installation as part of the stand experience, demonstrating the combined capabilities in action.
The stand serves as a platform for clients across UK, Nordic, and MENA markets to experience the enhanced service offering firsthand.
“Our clients are facing increasingly complex challenges as the boundaries between broadcast and corporate AV continue to shift,” said Jon Flay, group CEO.
“They need a partner who can bridge both worlds seamlessly – one with the scale, structure, and expertise to deliver across regions, technologies, and sector. This integration gives them that – greater depth, broader reach, and the confidence that comes from working with a unified, expert team.”
The integration creates immediate, tangible advantages for clients, the firms said in a statement.
By bringing together specialist teams across broadcast, corporate AV, and IP infrastructure, the organisation can now offer a wider range of expertise and greater technical depth – enhancing its ability to support complex projects from the outset.
With a larger team and extended consultant network, the group is well positioned to take on more ambitious programmes while maintaining the high levels of service and support clients rely on. A unified approach to project management ensures consistency across regions and reduces the risks that often come with managing multiple suppliers.
“We’ve built our reputation on being consistent, collaborative, and technically sound,” added Knut Andersen, global CEO, Mediability. “This integration allows us to bring that same approach to much larger, more complex projects. Our Nordic clients now have direct access to world-class broadcast expertise and global delivery capability.”
The timing reflects shifting market dynamics where IP-based infrastructure, remote workflows, and hybrid production models have become standard. Clients increasingly expect solutions that span traditional technology silos, and the integrated Megahertz-Mediability operation directly addresses this need.
The integration builds on months of successful collaboration and responds to clear market demand for systems integrators.
“We’re delivering something clients have been asking for – the ability to handle their most complex challenges with a single, trusted partner,” said Flay. “This integration positions us exactly where our clients need us to be as the industry continues to evolve.”
