BVE 2016: NewTek TriCaster Advanced Edition opens gateway to NDI

At BVE NewTek continued to spread the word about Advanced IP Workflows and its soon to be released NDI (Network Device Interface), a new open standard for live production IP workflows. At the show NewTek highlighted two TricCaster products, the TriCaster 8000 and TriCaster Mini, ideal for the new Advanced Edition upgrade and thereby incorporation of NDI.

With NDI, users can send and receive realtime, frame-accurate video from cameras and devices in different locations, all on a standard network infrastructure. It provides the ability to access the inputs and outputs of any compatible device on a network, tapping into more media sources for any production.

Visitors to the stand saw TriCaster 8000, a live video system equipped to handle anything from big live shows to sophisticated web programmes.
