CABSAT 2015: Megahertz to showcase turnkey SI capabilities

SI and mobile broadcast production specialist Megahertz is attending CABSAT 2015 to build on its strong position in the Middle East. A team of engineers and systems architects will be on hand to discuss the challenges for the industry, including the transition to IP connectivity.

Megahertz has been active in the Middle East and North Africa region for more than two decades. The company’s expertise in delivering turnkey solution can be seen at a number of leading broadcast facilities, including an HD outside broadcast truck for Oman TV.

These and other major global projects have seen Megahertz provide turnkey solutions from strategic analysis and engineering planning through project design and management, including product selection and procurement, to commissioning, training and support. The company’s capabilities include IT systems design alongside traditional audio and video infrastructures. Megahertz also has proven experience in emerging technologies, for example last year the company designed and built a 4k Ultra HD outside broadcast links unit for BT Media and Broadcast in the UK.

“In today’s rapidly changing broadcast and media market, you have to use the best of the emerging technologies to provide a solid platform for business growth,” said Jon Flay, managing director of Megahertz. “CABSAT is a great opportunity for us to talk to the established and the emerging players in the broadcast market, to discuss how we can work with them to deliver that solid platform, allowing them to concentrate on their commercial goals and winning audiences.”
