Canon.has announced the EOS R6 V camera, the RF20-50mm F4 L IS USM PZ lens, and a range of accessories targeted at video content creators.
The EOS R6 V is part of Canon’s EOS V-series lineup for video capture. It features a 32.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor with 7K/60p RAW, 7K/30p Open Gate, and 4K up to 60p oversampled recording, along with uncropped 4K/120p slow motion. The camera includes in-body image stabilisation, video-optimised autofocus tracking, an internal cooling fan for extended shooting, a vertical tripod mount, integrated zoom lever, and tally lamp. The body is expected to be available in late June and July.
The RF20-50mm F4 L IS USM PZ is Canon’s first L-series lens with built-in power zoom, covering a 20–50mm focal range at a constant f/4 aperture. The internal optical zoom design maintains a balanced centre of gravity for gimbal use. Power zoom can be controlled via the zoom ring, the Canon Camera Connect app, or Canon Bluetooth remotes including the BR-E2 and BR-E1. The lens is expected to be available in late June.
A range of accessories are also available, including the BR-E2 Bluetooth Low Energy remote with zoom and exposure compensation controls, the HG-200TBR multi-function tripod grip and the AD-M1 macro lite adapter set.
