Canon Europe announces ISE 2018 plans

Canon Europe has announced that its newly designed high brightness and high-quality laser and lamp based installation projectors will be showcased at ISE 2018 in February. Within the stand’s seven dedicated zones, Canon will highlight how its latest projectors suit installations in a range of environments, from very compact spaces to large auditoriums.

At the 2018 show, systems integrators will experience first-hand how Canon’s technology offers the greatest flexibility when designing projection systems, allowing them to fulfil customer needs that would otherwise be impossible. One example of this is through Canon’s four corner keystone correction which ensures images stay perfectly geometrical, even when installation requires the projector to be angled or off axis such as when installing in simulators, shops or art galleries.

Canon will be joined by industry specialist, ShopperScreen; a Finnish-based company that specialises in transforming under-utilised surfaces into high-definition, interactive projection screens. ShopperScreen will demonstrate how they bring window-shopping to life for its customers through high-quality, high brightness projection.

Worldwide theatrical and show supplier, Gerriets will also be present on the stand, highlighting how Canon’s technology has enabled them to offer glass surface projection for simulated virtual reality. Despite limited installation space, the Inviscreen solution was incredibly easy to install, thanks to Canon’s large lens shift capabilities. Across Canon’s market-leading range, a 75 per cent lens shift allows the projector to be positioned in a variety of locations, and a low throw ratio means it can be situated very close to the surface whilst maintaining a large image.

Andreas Herrnböck, European Business Development Manager, Visual Communications, Canon Europe, commented: “Canon has been exhibiting at ISE for over ten years, representing our ongoing commitment to achieving excellence in the AV industry and exceeding the needs of system integrators and their customers. Every year we endeavour to raise the bar, continuously improving our offering both with the technology we have on stand and the partnerships that we develop through the show. This year is no exception. I’m confident that our latest market-leading products and on-stand collaborations with other industry specialists are the solid foundations for another successful show.”
