Cannon was first promoted to head of vision engineering at NEP in 2014 and then in 2016 became director of technical operations. Tischler said: “I have known Chris for many years and his appointment is a huge win for Gravity Media. We are excited to have Chris join our expanding EMEA senior team. His wide range of operational experience, professionalism and passion for our industry means he will support us in our continued drive for more positive change within our operational business processes. Gravity Media is client focused and Chris in his wider role will give us invaluable support in bringing together operations, engineering and production management across the EMEA region. The higher the standard of our delivery the more creative a workspace we can create for our clients allowing them to be at their very best and that remains our priority. His arrival couldn’t be any better timed with the launch of our incredible Production Centre London in the heart of media land in White City. We also have a clear roadmap to deliver even more outside broadcast facilities and remote broadcast solutions, alongside a strong ESG policy driving our all-important green credentials. Having Chris on board means we can make some serious step changes at Gravity Media.”

Cannon said: “I couldn’t be any prouder to be joining Gravity Media at this important time in the growth of the company. I believe that a highly skilled, well-managed content team is crucial to business success. I will be focused on embracing and improving operational processes across the EMEA region to ensure we continue to deliver the best experience across all projects. I am passionate about being actively engaged in finding ways to identify and growing operational talent, as well as building diverse workforces. It’s going to be a very exciting chapter ahead which I relish being a part of to grow all operational practices across the EMEA regions.”
