Clear-Com wireless intercom and audio-over-IP to the fore at Broadcast Asia

At Broadcast Asia this week in Singapore Clear-Com is presenting a range of products from its portfolio of professional communication solutions, highlighting the adoption of the company’s market-leading wireless and IP solutions for broadcast workflows in the APAC region.

The FreeSpeak II wireless intercom system has dominated the market in Singapore this year, with production companies across the region recognizing the value of this solution for communication requirements across a wide variety of markets, from broadcast to live events. At Broadcast Asia Clear-Com is demonstrating the FreeSpeak II IPT transceiver which features AES67 audio-over-IP for low latency signal distribution, enabling FreeSpeak II wireless beltpacks to be deployed across a user’s LAN. The transceiver connects to an AES67-compatible IP switch and to Clear-Com’s Eclipse HX system via the high-density audio-and-intercom-over-IP E-IPA card.

When used within Clear-Com’s Eclipse HX digital matrix system, the E-IPA card also enables users to create a fully IP-based solution with the flexibility to interface with legacy systems as needed.

Additionally, visitors to Booth 4Q4-01 will see the flexible LQ Series Audio-over-IP interfaces, which allow users to bring their IP-based intercom wherever they go by networking geographically-dispersed standard intercom or audio devices of any brand over secure LAN, WAN or even the public internet. The LQ Series also allows users to extend their intercom footprint with SIP telephony and Agent-IC®, Clear-Com’s iOS or Android mobile intercom app.
