Cloudbass welcomes Mike McGaw as new senior project manager

Mike McGaw has joined OB and broadcast services company Cloudbass in the role of senior project manager.

Most recently at NEP, McGaw began his career working for Planet 24 on The Big Breakfast as a vision engineer at the turn of the millennium.

In 2004 McGaw joined Arqiva as a vision engineer and relocated to Nottingham. He became established in guaranteeing large-scale events for Sky Sports, Carling Cup Finals, and regular shows like Question Time and The Antiques Roadshow.

He progressed to unit manager in 2007. After a short freelance career, in 2013 he joined NEP Visions. Here he had the opportunity to lead and also to work as part of a broader project management team on some great projects which included: the award-winning Educating Yorkshire, BBC Proms 2014 – 2017, Rugby World Cup 2015, both Royal Weddings from 2018, Track Cycling – World Cups & European Championships, European Championships 2018, Commonwealth Games 2014, the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme Live and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.

McGaw said of his move to Cloudbass: “I am really excited to be joining Cloudbass at such a significant time. They are a company with a strong desire and ambition to grow. I’ve had a great welcome from everyone and after a couple of days, I already feel very much part of the team.
