Creative Technology announces dedicated systems integration team

As part of its ongoing strategic growth plan, Creative Technology (CT) has announced the formalisation of a new dedicated systems integration team for the UK and Europe.

This long-term planned expansion, which the company has been working on for a number of years, has been accelerated by the rapid growth in customer demand for support in implementing permanent solutions.

This, accompanied by the growth of the systems integration business in the Middle East and other regions globally, has enabled CT to bring an offering to the UK market. The creation of the systems integration team in the UK marks the next step of driving this strategical movement forward.

Graeme Bunyan, a well-known face within the audio-visual industry with over 30 years’ experience, has been appointed head of systems integration (UK). Bunyan started his career working alongside teams of technicians and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions for large-scale events and visitor attractions and is now a respected name in the AV industry.

He commented: “It’s an opportunity of a lifetime to be asked to join CT, with such a great reputation and respect within the industry. I am looking forward to working with so many talented people and helping develop and grow the integration business further.”

Alongside Bunyan, Jack Strong has been appointed as business development manager (systems integration); he comes to CT with a well-established reputation in the systems integration industry. As a key member of the business development team at his previous company, Strong was responsible for leading and managing the company’s strategic sales and marketing activities. In his 5+ years there, he managed and oversaw the rebrand of the business while leading its transformation into a sales-focused international AV company.

Strong reflected on his appointment: “I’m very excited to join CT, one of the most exciting and innovative AV companies in the world. Ever since being introduced to them during my time at Panasonic, I have been a huge admirer of their work and this is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside some of the most creative minds in the industry.”

Discussing the formalisation of the new system integration team, John Roche, managing director of Creative Technology Ireland, and Mark Elliott, managing director of Creative Technology UK, also offered comments.

Roche said: “In recent years we have seen a marked convergence in services within the audio-visual industry, many clients now wish to bring the same levels of technical innovation into their permanent installations as they adopt in their live events, this is a trend we at CT are perfectly positioned to deliver on. I am delighted to welcome Graeme and Jack to our team, two great assets whose vision matches that of our ambitions for the CT UK systems integration business. They join a team that has as an excellent track record in permanent installations.”

Elliott added: “We have always been in the systems integration business designing and building permanent experiences for our existing customers on an ad hoc basis with the ever-converging paths of live and experiential. The growth in demand for these services from our customers around the world means now is the right time for Creative Technology to create a dedicated business to service this market.”

With technical, creative experiences already being an area of established expertise for CT, the company are strongly positioned within the installation industry to offer their clients knowledge and expertise.
