Deluxe bolsters Australian IP delivery platform business MediaCloud with appointment of Trevor Clarke as head of operations

Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc. (Deluxe) todayannounced the appointment of Trevor Clarke as head of operations, Deluxe MediaCloud Australia. In this role, he will work closely with industry veteran David Radoczy, general manager of Deluxe’s MediaCloud platform, to grow the company’s IP-based, software-defined broadcast playout and delivery business in the region.

Joining from Prime Television where he held the position of head of television operations, and prior to that Network Program Manager, Clarke brings over 20 years of hands-on broadcast experience to Deluxe. Most recently, he spearheaded Prime Television’s outsourcing of its broadcast operations, gaining an intimate understanding of what it takes to run an efficient and client-focused business. Prior to this, he was network program manager at WIN Television, the world’s largest privately owned regional television network.

Alaric McAusland, managing director of Deluxe Australia, said: “Trevor brings a wealth of regional knowledge and experience to Deluxe and I’d like to welcome him to the team. Having successfully transitioned Prime channels from a proof-of-concept to final outsource delivering improved agility and efficiencies, we’re certain Trevor’s experience, combined with David’s, will further grow and cement Deluxe’s footprint in the region, as more broadcasters’ transition to IP delivery.”

“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Deluxe,” said Trevor Clarke. “The past two years have proved Deluxe MediaCloud is a functioning and reliable IP-based, software-defined broadcast playout and delivery platform – one that is truly disrupting the broadcast industry – and I’m excited to begin working with more broadcasters in the region and help them to realize the benefits of this innovative technology.”
