Dune HD, Beenius showing social TV solutions at TV Connect
Dune HD and Beenius have released details of their ‘extended partnership’, including an appearance at this week’s TV Connect Dune HD that will see them showcase a new range of advanced set top boxes, now available pre-loaded with Beenius’ Beesmart interactive TV middleware platform. This includes the newly upgraded BeeSocial TV functions, designed to cost-effectively enable new social media services.
BeeSocial TV allows users to connect and share their TV experience across social networks with Beesmart. By making it simple and intuitive for customers to integrate social media with TV viewing, operators benefit from increased loyalty, greater revenues per user and brand promotion on social networks.
Dune HD’s new range of innovative full HD media players and connected boxes has been specifically developed to meet the demanding needs of operators, making it faster to deploy IPTV and Video on Demand services to their subscribers.
Showcased will be the Dune HD Connect StickSTB, as well as the new Dune HD TV-102 and TV-303D devices. All products in the Dune HD line feature the Sigma Designs chipset, full HD 1080p video, IPTV/VOD/OTT streaming video, internal or external storage options and modern designs. Additionally, Dune HD will demonstrate Qarva’s FastSwitchTM, sub-500mS channel changing technology integrated into its products for IPTV applications.
