euNetworks supports TVT with fibre network across London

euNetworks, a provider of bandwidth infrastructure services in Europe, has announced that it has added an additional fibre connection to leading independent media services and post-production house, TVT, doubling TVT’s capacity. euNetworks is the underlying fibre network provider across London and has been working closely with TVT since 2014, delivering scalable connectivity into key sites in support of the growth in demand of its distribution services by clients.

TVT has dual and diverse connections to protect clients’ services. TVT offers services from ingest through to online distribution, and continues to grow its digital media and production business. In November 2015 it launched a new media management platform ContentSelect, a cloud based platform that efficiently manages operations, streamlines workflows and ensures content is edited, packaged and delivered on time, to the correct specifications and in the highest quality possible.

“We are delighted to be working with TVT, supporting the company with a fibre network that enables it to scale up bandwidth for specific customer projects as well as delivering Internet for its day to day workflow,” said Kevin Dean, chief marketing officer of euNetworks. “TVT is a company at the forefront of its industry, with a client base that is testament to that. Its usage of the cloud for content management, when it is managing such large amounts of content, is very impressive.”

“With the continued proliferation of content, and with more broadcasters and content owners trying to reach an ever wider audience with increased localisation, being able to quickly and securely turn around content is key,” said Ian Brotherston, CEO of TVT. “That means having efficient media operations and trusted partners that can deliver. With the development of our ContentSelect cloud based platform and the growth in services we deliver to clients such as BBC Worldwide, the Press Association (PA) and UKTV, having a fibre-based infrastructure in place between key sites that we can control and scale when we need to is vital to our service delivery experience. euNetworks’ technical expertise, fibre footprint and commitment to investing in connecting new sites makes it a strong partner for our growing business.”

euNetworks owns and operates their own fibre networks that connect more than 280 data centres and 1,000 buildings across Europe as well as offering direct access to 12 cloud platforms.
