European Tour Productions creates news distribution portal with Imagen

European Tour Productions [ETP], the joint venture formed by IMG Media and the European Tour, has selected Imagen’s Enterprise Video Platform to create a secure web portal for video news distribution for the European Tour events and The Ryder Cup.

Tournament and promotional content produced by ETP on a daily basis is transferred to Imagen where searchable metadata is added to each file via the ImagenWeb interface.

The website is accessed via a secure broadcaster login. Users can search via key words and drop-down lists, and can view and download content. An RSS feed is generated to inform the appropriate users when new content is made available. ETP can also track client usage via the reporting dashboard.
