Finepoint Broadcast maintains demo partnership with digiLED
Finepoint Broadcast Ltd is making increased use of the broadcast and audiovisual demonstration facilities at the headquarters showroom of LED screen suppliers digiLED, The Pixel Depot, located in Beare Green near Dorking, Surrey.
This cooperative venture enables potential and existing customers to experience full hands-on demonstrations of complete systems including lighting, lenses, cameras, camera supports and display screens.
“Video wall display technology has improved dramatically in that it now lends itself to installations previously not considered by the professional AV integration sector,” said Finepoint Broadcast’s professional AV sales manager Paul Mackenzie. ‘We are now installing LED video walls into boardroom and meeting spaces as a direct replacement of traditional projection systems. The drop in price and increase in technical performance have made LED a more realistic option and we are delighted to be working with digiLED to make these installations happen for our clients.”
“The transition from fluorescent to LED backlighting has also encouraged a move to larger displays while still remaining cool running and power efficient. Large screen displays are now a popular choice both as studio backgrounds and for wider applications in education and corporate communication. We are also seeing a distinct shift in customer preference away from projection systems in favour of direct-view displays both in the audiovisual and broadcast markets.”
“Leading brand direct view LED screens such as those supplied by digiLED offer an impressive combination of brightness, wide contrast, good colour handling and ease of installation. Importantly, this demo partnership allows customers to evaluate the actual picture quality that can be expected from using high end broadcast specification camera and lens arrangements in conjunction with LED displays for impressive live events and shows”.
Located at The Pixel Depot, Copse Farm, Moorhurst Lane, Beare Green, digiLED is less than 5 miles south of Dorking.
