At IBC2026, FOR-A will demonstrate a workflow that connects pre-production planning with live delivery, through an integration between CuePilot, the ClassX-powered MixBoard software-based switcher and the ClassX LiveBoard graphics generator. The demonstration is the result of a collaboration between FOR-A, CuePilot and ClassX, FOR-A’s graphics partner.
CuePilot is a software platform that allows producers to pre-visualise a show, building from reference material to camera positions and moves, lighting changes and audio cues within a single timeline. During rehearsal, technical documentation such as camera cards and cue lists is prepared collaboratively, and camera operators and production teams can follow their cues in CueApp on iOS or Android.
The IBC2026 demonstration extends this workflow with a live, real-time, minimal-latency integration between CuePilot, MixBoard and LiveBoard. Moving through the CuePilot timeline drives automated scene changes, layout recalls, graphics activation and media playback, so that plans made during pre-production are carried through automatically to live output.
CuePilot was created by Per Zachariassen, a director who identified a need for tools to deliver precision and consistency in live broadcasts.
“My vision was to create the first ever dedicated software for live television and events. This collaboration with FOR-A is an exciting development of that concept, bringing technologies together while keeping the focus on the creative and everyone on the same page,” Zachariassen said.

The CuePilot, MixBoard and LiveBoard integration will be demonstrated at IBC2026 on the FOR-A stand.
