Former Mediasmiths chairman Niall Duffy joins Sony Europe

Sony Professional Europe has announced the appointment of Niall Duffy as Head of Workflow and IT Solutions for Europe. Harnessing his extensive experience within the media and broadcast industry, Duffy will draw upon and leverage the full breadth of the Sony business in Europe, including product, professional services, R&D, Media Cloud Services, and Sony’s disc and digital solutions arm (DADC), as well as engagement with key partners.

A former founder and chairman of Mediasmiths International, Duffy also led the EMEA Broadcast Solutions team at IBM, as well as media and entertainment consultancy practices at Arthur D. Little and Arthur Andersen.
