Grabyo unveils broadcast-grade live production workflow at NAB 2022

Grabyo has used NAB 2022 to debut its cloud-native, broadcast-grade live production workflow, as the company introduces SRT and Zixi streaming alongside a number of new capabilities to its cloud video platform.

The Grabyo platform provides a collaborative set of tools for scaling production services while removing the overhead for customers to manage complex cloud-infrastructure for video production. It offers live clipping, video editing and live production tools in a single platform, built natively in the cloud on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Grabyo was built to enable broadcasters and media organisations to create video content from any location for digital and social distribution. These video tools have now expanded in scope to lay the foundation to augment and replace traditional linear broadcasting infrastructure.

Grabyo Producer, a live production platform, has been upgraded to support the distribution of high-fidelity video streams in SRT and Zixi format, built on AWS MediaConnect.

The company is also showcasing new features that take advantage of distributed video production workflows in a web browser. Grabyo’s remote guest contribution app, which allows production teams to bring in remote presenters and talent, now has lazy talkback and intercom features, facilitating communication between production crews and on-air talent.

A number of UX and scene-building tools that brings drag-and-drop functionality for positioning, cropping and remodelling assets for live productions, have also been introduced, while TikTok and Instagram have been added to the list of social media integration partners that already features YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Twitter and Snap.

Grabyo was also part of an exclusive group that launched the TikTok Video API, allowing third-party providers to publish video content natively to TikTok accounts.

The Grabyo live clipping platform has also been enhanced with the recently released multi-track audio clipping. As part of the platform’s compatibility with SRT, Zixi, RiST, HLS and RTP streams, users can now ingest multiple audio tracks and choose which one to use for publishing and downstream delivery.
