IABM opens up its Game-Changer Awards

For the first time ever, IABM has opened its annual Game-Changer awards for nomination from companies across the broadcast and media industry. The awards recognise new products, processes, systems, services or developments that demonstrate innovation and offer real benefits for end users.

Applications are open to IABM members and non-members, offering entrants the opportunity to receive well-deserved recognition for their outstanding products or services. The deadline for entry is Friday 6 March 2015. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony, to be held at the NAB Show on Tuesday 14 April.

Nine awards will be presented at NAB in the following categories: Acquisition and production; Post production; Content and communication infrastructure; Audio; Storage; System automation and control; Playout & delivery systems; Test, quality control and monitoring; Services.

John Ive, director of Business Development and Technology, IABM says: “With the broadcast and media industry transitioning through major changes, the need for innovative and creative solutions that bring real value to end users has never been so important. By opening up the awards for nomination for the first time, companies of all sizes have the chance to showcase their products and services and demonstrate the benefits that are brought to the broadcast and media industry as a whole.”

Winning entries will be put forward to the IABM’s Peter Wayne Award, to be announced at the IABM Annual Conference in December.
