IBC 2019: Leader’s LV5900 HD/4K/8K multi-standard waveform monitor to make European debut

Leader (stand 11.A33) will be making a couple of announcements at this year’s IBC. First, it will be the European launch of the LV5900 HD/4K/8K multi-standard waveform monitor, designed for TV content producers, broadcasters and equipment manufacturers progressing into the Super Hi-Vision standard.

New for both the LV5600 and LV7600 is the 25GbE interface option (SER06) which allows support for uncompressed UHD video formats over IP, plus the HD/UHD IP test pattern generator option (SER32) for use with the option LV5600/LV7600- SER06.

Also being introduced for the LV5600 and LV7600 is a signal to noise meter capability. The (SER30) option is designed for camera noise measurement, displaying the video noise included in the luminance channel, or RGB components of an SDI source.
