IBC 2024: Adder Launches ARDx Next-Gen KVM Over IP Technology, ADDERView Matrix C-Range Enterprise-Grade IP KVM

At IBC 2024, Adder Technology (Stand 8.B65) is launching ARDx, a next generation KVM over IP technology. The announcement also introduces the first products designed and developed to leverage the ARDx powerful feature set, comprising a new ZeroU transmitter, and desktop software client for management and configuration of ARDx enabled devices. With this news Adder brings to market the next generation KVM over IP for many diverse applications including video walls, medical imaging and remote access in the industrial sector. In addition, the company has announced the new ADDERView Matrix C-Range, a IP KVM solution that brings enterprise-grade KVM capabilities to more streamlined applications

Neil Firth, senior product manager, Adder, explains, “Developing ARDx was a direct response to the growing demand amongst our customers with mission critical applications for more secure, reliable and resilient solutions for network access, management and control of distributed computers. Combining hardware and software elements, and Adder’s development expertise, we’re also introducing the first products to benefit from next generation of KVM over IP. ARDx sets a new standard for connectivity in the KVM space, and we are already exploring many deployment opportunities around the globe with our technology partners and customers.”

ARDx

Developed from the ground up to be secure, scalable, flexible and extensible, ARDx comprises an embedded KVM server designed for flexible deployment. Delivering out-of-band remote access and management, users experience low-latency and high-quality video, audio and USB connectivity. With the ability to integrate multiple Codecs and a unique network-adaptive transport mechanism, ARDx is designed to deliver and maintain superior visual performance over Local- or Wide-Area Networks (LAN/WAN).

ARDx Viewer

An intuitive and user-centric desktop software client (Windows/Linux) that allows PC users to connect to ARDx enabled KVM over IP devices. ARDx Viewer supports high-quality video and audio, secure connections, low latency control of the remote host, and provides all the necessary tools to configure and manage connection settings and user profiles.

ADDERLink Portal R110

Leveraging Adder’s industry first ZeroU transmitter design the ADDERLink Portal R100 series features the first product with ARDx technology delivering secure, low-latency keyboard, video, mouse and audio connectivity. With DisplayPort connectivity ADDERLink Portal R110 is optimized for use over a LAN. Connectivity for remote internet access over a WAN can be achieved through a firewall port or Virtual Private Network.

ADDERView Matrix C-Range – Enterprise-Grade IP KVM, Simplified

In addition, the company has announced the new ADDERView Matrix C-Range, a IP KVM solution that brings enterprise-grade KVM capabilities to more streamlined applications with a ‘plug and play’ architecture that means users can deploy and configure an IP KVM matrix easily.

Ideal for broadcast studios, space-constrained control rooms and industrial remote access control environments, ADDERView Matrix delivers a streamlined IP KVM matrix solution and an unrivalled user experience for organizations that prioritize ease of use and minimal maintenance.

Comprising a single-head ADDERView Matrix C1100 user station, and a choice of DisplayPort or HDMI transmitter connectivity via the ADDERView Matrix C110 computer access modules, users can add a network switch, pre-configured for KVM and AV-over-IP functionality*, to build a simplified IP KVM matrix that suits their requirements. Each user station is a master controller of up to 16 sources at any one time, and a single computer access module can connect up to 256 different user stations, ensuring deployment for any user scenario is simple, scalable and flexible.

John Halksworth, senior product manager, Adder Technology, says, “ADDERView Matrix is an exciting new addition to Adder’s portfolio. We know first-hand from our customers the demand is growing for IP KVM matrix systems that are easy to install, manage and operate, and support less-complex requirements. Typically, users are looking for fast installation and reliable operation that requires minimal technical expertise. With ADDERView Matrix, we address those challenges and combine it with the power of Adder’s IP KVM technology.”
