Sony will present a wide range of new products and solutions for broadcast, live production, cinema, and virtual production at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam.
Among the highlights is the PXW-Z300 XDCAM, described as the world’s first “authenticity-ready” camera. Equipped with three 1/2-type 4K Exmor R CMOS sensors and the BIONZ XR processor, it supports 4K60p resolution, low-noise performance, and AI-assisted workflows for news and documentary production.

In virtual production, Sony will show the Crystal LED CAPRI display wall, offering high brightness, wide colour gamut, and fast installation, supported by Sony’s Virtual Production Tool Set.
For live production, the new HDC-F5500V system camera adds a global shutter and PL lens mount, with optional variable ND filter control. Meanwhile, the MLS-X1 switcher provides a modular, scalable platform for reconfigurable live production environments.
Other products on show include the ECM-778 shotgun microphone, designed for broadcast-quality sound in compact setups; the BRC-AM7 PTZ camera, which integrates AI-driven auto framing with a 20x zoom and 4K60p output; and the BURANO v2.0 cinema camera update, adding higher frame rate capture, anamorphic support, and expanded stabilisation.
Sony will also showcase the ILME-FX2 Cinema Line camera, a compact full-frame model positioned as an entry point into professional filmmaking.
