IBC2011 launches the IBC Leaders’ Summit
Netherlands: IBC is launching a new innovation for 2011, the IBC2011 Leaders’ Summit, to be held on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 September at the RAI in Amsterdam. The Leaders’ Summit programme ‘Leadership in a Digital Age’ will address the challenges of steering organisations to success through this new media landscape and will be led by what IBC promises will be some of the most inspirational and influential figures within the electronic media industry.
“Combining compelling business content with high level networking opportunities, the tailor-made programme of activities will include exclusive presentations from key speakers, a VIP networking dinner, tailored research from Deloitte and a private tour of the exhibition for a peer group of key media influencers to see the latest innovations and technology,” runs a statement.
Speakers include: Mike Darcey, coo, BskyB; Erik Huggers, vice president, general manager digital home group, Intel; Chris Dedicoat, president, european markets, Cisco; William H Roedy, former chairman and chief executive, MTV Networks International (MTVNI); Caroline Thomson, coo, BBC; and Gary Shapiro, president and ceo, Consumer Electronics Association.
The summit also promises unique contribution from Sir Martin Sorrell, ceo, WPP: and Ellis Watson, former ceo, Syco Entertainment, is on the slate as after dinner speaker.
