IBC2023: Telos to showcase products including Axia Quasar, Telos Infinity VIP and Omnia Forza
Telos Alliance is bringing its full slate of radio and TV products to Amsterdam for IBC2023.
“NAB was fantastic this year, and we expect IBC will be just as exciting,” said Martin Sacks, Telos Alliance EVP of sales, marketing and strategy. “People are excited this year, not just about new products, but the new capabilities and efficiencies those products can bring to their operations. We’ll be presenting all the newest Telos Alliance innovations so broadcasters can be fully informed while planning next year’s projects.”
On display will be the Axia Quasar AoIP mixing consoles, complete with multi-layer operation with instant snapshot recall, programmable work surfaces and an information-rich 12.1in colour touchscreen, and Telos Infinity VIP. This free companion application for Infinity VIP customers is available from Google Play and the Apple App Store. It enables easy panel sharing and configuration, allowing VIP administrators to share invite emails with a link that automatically opens the app with a pre-set configuration.
Also on show will be the AudioTools Server WorkflowCreator. Minnetonka AudioTools Server has earned a reputation among content creators and distributors as a flexible tool for handling complex, file-based audio automation tasks. The introduction of WorkflowCreator addresses one of the biggest challenges faced by audio professionals: quick creation of new custom workflows. WorkflowCreator retains the core functionality and all the features of its predecessor, WorkflowEditor, while introducing new abilities to delete steps, add new steps, and create brand-new workflows entirely from scratch using an intuitive, easy-to-use graphical interface – without the need to manually edit XML files.
AIXpressor from Jünger Audio combines I/O flexibility and audio processing in a compact, 1RU powerhouse. Based on the new flexAI platform architecture, AIXpressor can be used as a standalone processor or deployed as part of a larger processing array incorporating other AIXpressor units and flexAIserver for high channel-count applications.
The new Omnia Forza, a brand-new software-based approach to multiband audio processing, is purpose-built for HD, DAB, DRM, and streaming audio applications. Easily delivered and run via Docker container, Forza’s all-new AGCs and multiband limiters breathe new life into the traditional five-band processor design. Omnia’s Sensus codec conditioning is included, bringing sparkle and clarity to low-bitrate streams, and a new LUFS target-driven ITU-R BS.1770 loudness controller makes it simple to comply with streaming platform requirements.
Finally, Axia Altus is a new software-based audio mixing console delivered as a Docker container that brings the power and features of a traditional hardware console to desktop and laptop computers, tablets and smartphones running any modern web browser. Altus provides full-function mixing (including eight virtual auxiliary mixers and integration with Telos VX broadcast phone systems) for distributed and remote workforces, allowing collaboration on both recorded programs and live broadcasts – ideal for any situation where fast deployment is necessary, such as temporary studios, low-cost disaster recovery centres, or on-demand remote broadcasts.
