RTS Flip-To-Mute Headsets – Built for Broadcast, Trusted by Pros
RTS has also launched its new HRF Series headsets, the next evolution of the company’s trusted broadcast headset line. Designed for seamless communication in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. With the new Flip-To-Mute feature, muting is as easy as flipping the boom up, and re-engaging is just as simple – flip it back down and you’re live again.
In high-pressure production environments – especially sports – there’s no time to fumble with mic controls. The new HRF Series headsets put speed, control, and clarity where they matter most: at your fingertips.
Based on the proven HR-1 and HR-2 designs, the HRF-1 (single-ear) and HRF-2 (dual-ear) bring everything RTS is known for – durability, comfort, and broadcast-grade audio – now enhanced with Flip-To-Mute functionality. Raise the mic boom to mute. Lower it to talk. It’s instant, intuitive, and game-changing for fast-paced production crews where seconds count and silence matters.
Key Features of the HRF Series
- Available in single- and dual-ear configurations
- Broadcast-grade dynamic mic with noise-canceling
- New Flip-To-Mute boom arm for instant control
- Lightweight, full-cushion design for long-term comfort
- Compatible with all RTS intercom platforms
- Engineered for high-pressure broadcast and sports production environments

First European Deployment of RVOC by ATM System
ATM System, a division of ATM Group, has successfully completed the first European deployment of RTS Voice Over Cloud (RVOC) technology during a major live football broadcast, setting a new standard for agile, mobile-first intercom communication in live production.
In partnership with PAWLAKI Pro Audio, ATM System utilized a hybrid setup combining RTS KP-Series keypanels, RVOC Edge mobile apps and RVON networking, creating a robust and decentralized communication system that overcame the challenges of variable IP environments and limited on-site infrastructure.
Key highlights of the deployment:
- Stadium-side coordination used KP-4016 keypanels connected via Starlink satellite, with support staff on 4G/5G using RVOC Edge mobile apps.
- ATM headquarters supported remote production roles – including replay, graphics and technical direction – via Wi-Fi and RVOC Edge.
- Flexible configuration tools (AZEdit and IPedit) enabled fast adaptation to dynamic IP conditions and minimized downtime.
- Redundant design ensured uninterrupted comms despite signal disruptions, supported by RTS remote engineering.
“RTS RVOC allowed us to maintain seamless communication between our stadium crew and headquarters, even with unpredictable IP environments and limited infrastructure”, says Łukasz Starakiewicz-Zawiślak, Technical Sales Manger and Support Engineer at PAWLAKI Pro Audio. “The ability to deploy quickly, configure remotely, and scale as needed made it the ideal solution for our live sports workflow.”
The project showcases the future of broadcast communication – scalable, mobile and resilient – powered by the next generation of RTS intercom technology.
