Riedel Communications will present the Live Production Experience at IBC2026, a connected demonstration that follows the production chain from image capture and signal transport through live switching, replay, audio processing, monitoring, control, communications and delivery.

Rather than presenting each technology in isolation, the company will show how its systems can work together in an IP-based environment intended to simplify operations and give production teams a more consistent and flexible way to build, run and evolve their workflows.

At the centre of the demonstration are the SimplyLive Production Suite Flex, now expanded with SMPTE ST 2110-capable server configurations; MediorNet’s hybrid SDI-IP and native ST 2110 capabilities; SAME audio processing; and hi human interface as the control and orchestration layer. With Arri camera technology at the point of image capture, the demonstration connects the full production workflow within one IP environment.

Beyond the Live Production Experience, Riedel will present the IBC premieres of the MediorNet HorizoN ST 2110 MultiViewer App, the DSP-1216HL Commentary Control App and the StageLink NSA008-A, and will announce further product news across its intercom and audio lines on the opening day of IBC.

SimplyLive

Riedel will highlight the continued development of the SimplyLive Production Suite Flex, with new Flex server configurations adding SMPTE ST 2110 to the platform’s existing support for SDI, SRT, NDI and other video workflows. Rather than a separate product launch, the expansion broadens deployment choices and allows SimplyLive to fit more directly into ST 2110 production environments and Riedel’s wider IP infrastructure.

Further enhancements add capabilities and operational flexibility to the SimplyLive software suite. Alongside integration with SKAARHOJ control panels, Riedel will show new Venue Gateway options and expanded workflow flexibility for a range of live production, replay, review and contribution requirements.

MediorNet

At IBC2026, Riedel will present the IBC premiere of the MediorNet HorizoN ST 2110 MultiViewer App, expanding native IP capabilities and reinforcing HorizoN’s role in ST 2110-based infrastructures. The app brings multiviewing directly into the MediorNet processing environment, helping production teams combine signal transport, routing, processing and monitoring within one infrastructure. It extends Riedel’s established multiviewer approach into native IP environments while retaining the operational flexibility required for live production.

With its modular architecture and app-based concept, MediorNet continues to develop alongside changing industry standards and production requirements. The portfolio brings together decentralised baseband devices such as MediorNet MicroN UHD, the hybrid MediorNet HorizoN platform, and MediorNet VirtU and FusioN IP products to support workflows across SDI and IP environments.

hi human interface

Riedel’s hi human interface is a vendor-agnostic control and orchestration platform that unifies broadcast and audiovisual production systems into a single operational workflow. Browser-based and platform-independent, hi enables operators to configure, control and manage routers, multiviewers, video and audio mixers, software-defined networks (SDNs) and other third-party technologies through one interface. Supporting baseband, IP or hybrid infrastructures, hi adapts to different users, operational roles and production environments.

Within the Live Production Experience, hi demonstrates how integrated control simplifies workflows across production, media transport, monitoring and audio. By bringing separate systems together into a single operational layer, hi reduces the need to move between multiple applications, supporting faster operation, improved situational awareness and more efficient live production.

SAME and StageLink

Riedel will show SAME Smart Audio & Mixing Engine, an audio processing software suite built on commercial off-the-shelf server cluster technology. Designed for scalable and automated workflows, SAME provides processing resources that can adapt to changing production requirements. Its distributed approach separates audio processing from individual physical workspaces, allowing resources to be accessed and managed across different locations. This supports a range of applications, including mixing, monitoring, voice-over, loudness management, signal analysis and in-line processing. At IBC, Riedel will also demonstrate applications in elite sailing, showing how the platform supports complex and dynamic audio workflows in live production.

At the edge of the network, Riedel’s expanding StageLink Network Stream Adapter family provides compact, rugged devices for decentralised audio and intercom connectivity over standard IP networks. At IBC, Riedel will premiere the StageLink NSA008-A, expanding the StageLink portfolio and supporting signal distribution within Artist, Bolero and wider IP audio environments. Together, SAME and StageLink create a scalable signal path from mic to ear.

Riedel will also introduce enhancements across its Bolero wireless intercom portfolio, with new 5G filtering for Bolero antennas and beltpacks. The enhancements are designed to increase resilience in demanding RF environments and support reliable communications in increasingly congested production settings. Bolero beltpacks will also feature a refreshed, more durable hardware design, along with new RF-resilient options for demanding broadcast, event and production environments.

Bolero Mini complements the full-size Bolero beltpack with a discreet, lightweight design weighing 165g and 28mm thin. It combines four programmable keys and dedicated volume controls with the audio performance, RF capabilities, Bluetooth connectivity and operational concepts of the wider Bolero ecosystem. Together, Bolero and Bolero Mini give production teams a choice of form factors while maintaining a consistent wireless intercom experience across different roles and applications.

Artist ecosystem

Riedel will show workflow enhancements for Artist and the 1200 Series SmartPanel platform, to be unveiled on the opening day of the show. The company will also present the IBC premiere of the new Commentary Control App for the DSP-1216HL Desktop SmartPanel, extending the platform into IP-based commentary while complementing its existing communications, monitoring and control capabilities.

The Virtual SmartPanel (VSP) further expands the ecosystem by bringing secure, platform-independent intercom access to mobile devices, tablets and web browsers. Fully integrated with Artist, VSP combines with physical SmartPanels and wireless endpoints to provide production teams with a consistent communications environment across fixed, remote, distributed and hybrid workflows.

Easy5G

Following its introduction as a managed service through Riedel’s Managed Technology division, Easy5G is now also available as a product for customers and partners looking to build and operate their own private 5G networks.

Designed for live events, remote productions, broadcast facilities and other dynamic environments, Easy5G combines carrier-grade connectivity with a simplified, IT-friendly setup. Its modular architecture brings together the Easy5G core and scalable small-cell base stations, allowing networks to be operational in under 60 minutes and to expand as requirements grow. Dedicated frequencies, configurable uplink and downlink ratios and network slicing support reliable wireless workflows for video, audio, communications and data.

DIVA+

Riedel will feature DIVA+, a Managed Technology offering delivered as an integrated managed service package for complex live event environments. DIVA+ brings Data, Intercom, Video and Audio together across wired and wireless infrastructures, complemented by Easy5G, cloud media services and centralised control and orchestration. The service supports the full event lifecycle – from virtual pre-planning and deployment to monitoring and live operation – helping teams manage distributed workflows through one coordinated infrastructure approach.

Riedel will also highlight RefSuite, its integrated Managed Technology ecosystem for sports officiating, coaching, communications and production. RefSuite brings together RefCam, RefBox, RefComms, SidelineComms and RefCloud to support connected workflows across capture, review, communication and cloud-based services.
