Imagen bolsters executive team with two senior hires
Video management company Imagen has added to its executive team with the appointment of a vice president of sales and a chief marketing officer (CMO).
Helen Aboagye is the company’s new CMO, bringing almost two decades of marketing experience to Imagen, most recently serving as VP of marketing of Currencycloud, a global payment platform.
As the company’s first CMO, Aboagye will take responsibility for developing the brand, corporate communications and demand generation programmes, as well as Imagen’s go-to-market strategy.
At the same time, Nathan Birtle joins as VP of sales. He has previously worked in SaaS markets, helping to increase sales for a range of enterprise technologies including IBM and Sparta Systems.
Birtle previously worked alongside current Imagen chief executive Charlie Horrell at the boardroom software company Diligent.
Horrell said of the duo: “Their expertise working with premium global technology brands will be instrumental in the execution of our strategic plan, particularly as we sharpen our focus on growing revenue in the sports and entertainment sector while capitalising on increased demand for professional video management by businesses.”
Imagen clients include BBC Studios, English Premier League, ATP Media, Endemol, BP, the British Film Institute and IMG.
