IMG Media (IMG) has signed an agreement that will see it continue to use of Forbidden Technologies’ cloud-based clipping and editing platform Blackbird for a further three years.
The sports producer’s digital production team will use Blackbird to rapidly clip, edit and publish live sports video content to IMG’s own content delivery network, as well as its partners’ online platforms.
Blackbird will be used for coverage of La Liga and Serie A, EuroLeague Basketball, and the European Volleyball League.
IMG has been using the technology since 2015.
The new agreement is worth a six-figure sum over the three years.
