INSIGHT TV cites continued ‘strong growth’ across Europe

Action sport, lifestyle and entertainment channel INSIGHT TV has signed a deal with wilhelm.tel, which will see INSIGHT TV’s channel distributed on the German cable operator’s digital service. The deal was handled by Mediapool Content Services, a service provider for the licensing and marketing of foreign-language TV channels in the German-speaking region.

wilhelm’s customer base across Northern Germany will be able to access INSIGHT TV’s channel within the operator’s basic free TV package as it continues its analogue switch-off, which is due to be completed on 25th March 2018.

“Analogue TV channels make up a very small percentage of our offering and we feel that it’s important to provide digital content that our customers can watch without a subscription fee,” says Wolfgang Kleinekathöfer, wilhelm.tel’s Head of Content Management. “With INSIGHT TV, we get unique, action packed programmes that will resonate with our viewers at the highest quality.”
