ISE 2026: SSL to debut UMD192 interface

Solid State Logic (SSL) will be demonstrating a new product prototype at ISE 2026, as well as debuting its brand new UMD192 MADI and Dante digital audio interface. The company will also demonstrate its new Live V6.2 software update – paired with the L350 Plus and L100 Plus consoles – as well as the new System T TCA Flypack Plus package.

The UMD192 is a portable USB audio interface designed to meet the demands of professional live sound, broadcast and high-spec studio environments. With integration across MADI, Dante and USB protocols, the UMD192 delivers flexible routing possibilities, high channel counts, and uncompromising performance for recording, playback and format bridging. Offering power in a compact and portable form factor, the UMD192 delivers 192 channels at both 96 and 48kHz, or 128 channels at 192kHz.

It is designed for both Mac and Windows environments and is compatible with any DAW.  On the network side, the UMD192 delivers fully interoperable Dante AoIP with AES67 and ST 2110 (with DDM) support and ultra-low Dante latency reaching just 0.25ms. It also provides flexible clocking options from either MADI or Dante and is able to cover sample rates from 44.1 to 192kHz. Additionally, with its six MADI BNC pairs, the UMD192 can be configured in redundant mode, enabling three dual-redundant MADI connections to be provided for mission-critical broadcast and live workflows.

SSL will also be previewing selected features of the new Live V6.2 software update, which features enhanced capabilities for modern live productions. The company will have the L350 Plus and L100 Plus consoles on hand, configured as main and remote extension surfaces, showcasing the full power of the SSL Live ecosystem and its expandable multi‑surface system configurations.

The new System T TCA Flypack Plus, a fully-fledged broadcast-grade 256-path audio console in a compact package that includes Desktop Fader Tile Plus and the Desktop Master Tile Plus, will also be showcased. Fully controllable onsite through dedicated hardware controls and an intuitive interface designed for touch, or remotely controllable from a studio or broadcast facility, the Flypack TCA demonstrates the full power of System T in an IP-native, portable, and scalable solution. It also features direct AoIP routing and built-in FX processing, while requiring no additional components.
