Largest ever Nimbra order for nationwide distribution in Eurasia

A broadcast infrastructure operator in Eurasia has selected Nimbra to serve as a nationwide internet/IP-based backup in parallel to the main primary distribution feed over satellite.

The Nimbra VA series from Net Insight provides cost-efficient transport over public internet (IP), with high QoS of digital video signals to regional headends for local distribution.

The solution covers nationwide, and the order value exceeds EUR 1 million. Delivery and implementation takes place during the fourth quarter 2018.

“This is our largest Nimbra VA order to date,” said Henrik Sund, interim CEO of Net Insight. “Our media over internet transport solution will secure the nationwide delivery of TV and will enable the customer to increase the number of TV services in the future.”
