Masstech Innovations appoints first chief digital officer
Masstech Innovations, the storage and asset management company, has appointed a chief digital officer for the first time.
James Whitebread takes up the newly created tole having previously been at MarcoPolo Learning, the online children’s educational technology and media company, where he was chief technology officer.
Whitebread has a 15-year background in product design and development for sports and media and entertainment, and extensive experience in telecoms and security. He has led product development and builds for various clients including IMG, BT, UEFA, Disney, Warner Bros., FIFA, Technicolor, Amazon Prime, TATA and Cardinal Heath Care.
He also worked for UI Centric, leading projects for UEFA, FIFA, AMC, PIX Systems and VUBIQUITY to deliver products and services such as UEFA.TV and MUTV.
His career also includes stints at Technicolor, BT, IMG and Tata Communications.
Masstech Innovations creates hybrid cloud-based storage and asset lifecycle management solutions for the Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry.
