Media Broadcast reorganises senior management team

Media Broadcast has reorganised its management and made several new appointments. Wolfgang Kniese (47) will enhance the Management Board from 1 April 2015 as Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Bruno Maineult, who leaves the company on 1 April.

Before moving to Media Broadcast, Kniese served as CFO of T-Mobile Austria in Vienna for six years, where he was responsible for all commercial processes as well as procurement. Prior to this, he had worked in various management positions at T-Mobile and T-Online, and was involved in several IPOs at the telecoms group.

The role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), which was previously undertaken by Wolfgang Breuer in addition to his responsibilities as CEO, will from now on be filled by Frank Schulz (42), Head of the Media Broadcast Networks business unit until now, and before that Head of Business Development at the network operator ORS in Austria.

Holger Meinzer (38), previously head of the TV business unit, has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer B2B with effect from 1 April 2015. The position of Chief Commercial Officer B2C will be filled in the near future.
