Media Links celebrates 30 years of media over IP innovation
Media Links is marking its 30th anniversary in 2023, celebrating a rich heritage of delivering media over IP transport solutions and professional services to broadcasters, network service providers and sports content producers worldwide.
Established in 1993 in Kawasaki, Japan, Media Links has come a long way since its early days manufacturing MPEG-2 video encoders along with ATM and video matrix switches.
The company’s capabilities first rose to global industry prominence through participation in the 2002 World Cup held jointly by Japan and Korea. Today, with offices around the world and a strong network of partners, Media Links is considered a trusted technology and professional services supplier to some of the world’s largest telecommunications operators.
Expanding its presence to many of the world’s most-watched sporting and entertainment events, Media Links has been at the forefront of the rapid transition to IP-based media processing.
