Media Production Show claims record attendance, rebookings

The Media Production Show, a UK exhibition and conference bringing TV, film and commercials together across pre-production, production and post, has successfully completed its second year in its new, larger home at Olympia. The show took place 13-14 June and attracted over 4500 visitors over the two days and rebooked many key exhibitors for next year.

The annual two-day event brings together an opportunity for technology and craft companies to sit side by side to demonstrate new products and services for the UK’s creative industries all supported by seminar programme which attracted key industry talent from across all genres. Next year, The media production show returns to Olympia 12-13 June 2018. A number of key exhibitors have already rebooked for next year including Canon, BPS, Panasonic, Holdan, The Auditionist, Fujifilm, Elements, Global Distribution and Medialease.

Nigel Wilkes, General Manager, Broadcast & ProAV UK, Panasonic and an exhibitor, said: “The timing of the Media Production Show is perfect – it allows us to bring key products we announced at NAB and CineGear to the UK for the first time. The show has been a brilliant launch pad for our new EVA1 camera. The show attracts the right clientele and Panasonic is very much behind the Media Production Show. We support it and have already committed to being at the show again next year. Charlotte and the team have created a winner of a show.”

In addition to 150 exhibitors, the Media Production Show produces an in-depth seminar programme covering pre-production, production, post, delivery and live production, giving the industry free access to experts in their fields. This year speakers included YouTube sensations Casper Lee and Joe Suggs and their business partners Raucous Productions.
