MRMC announces two additions to growing broadcast division

Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) is continuing its expansion in the broadcast market with two new additions to the team. Amanda Dixon has joined as broadcast marketing manager while Karl Hillcoat-Williams has taken up the role of broadcast customer support manager.

For the past 16 years, Dixon has worked in marketing roles for several broadcast technology companies, including JVC, Pebble Beach and more recently in a senior management position at TSL Products. She also spent five years on the marketing team at international broadcast tradeshow IBC.

Trained in graphics design and marketing, Dixon will bring her extensive experience in marketing strategy, campaign development and communications, as well as a deep understanding of the broadcast industry and its future, to MRMC’s broadcast division, focusing on content marketing, stack development, and sales and account-based marketing.

“I have no doubt that MRMC is a great career move for me,” she said. “The passion and innovation demonstrated by the company and its team is evident. The company has ambitious growth plans and I am exciting to be able to work with the team to grow the broadcast side of the business.”

Hillcoat-Williams brings invaluable knowledge of microelectronics and experience working as a test engineer for post production, film, television and live broadcast to the company. His experience of developing and maintaining service and training operations internationally will enable him to provide the support that will be instrumental in building on MRMC’s success in the broadcast sector.

“I have travelled the world extensively, managing a variety of customer and reseller accounts, from post houses and national broadcasters to advertising agencies and accredited training centres,” he said. “My passion for the industry has afforded me this immense opportunity to join MRMC. I look forward to sharing my skills and experience to bring the very best quality service and support to our customers.”
