NAB 2019 in Review: Grass Valley Highlights Wide Range of End-to-End Solutions

At NAB Show 2019, Grass Valley, a Belden Brand (Booth SL106) underscored its solutions that help customers build deep connections with consumers, enabling shared experiences – wherever they are – through the magic of media. Visitors saw how its end-to-end ecosystem of reliable, open standards-based solutions enable content creators and broadcasters to develop captivating experiences and build successful media businesses.

As an R&D powerhouse, Grass Valley is launching a host of new solutions at NAB; in fact every product on the company’s booth has been updated in the past 12 months. On the Grass Valley booth will be a new application–themed approach, designed to provide instant recognition and relevance for booth visitors, with demonstrations of the industry’s most comprehensive suite of solutions for remote/at-home production, venues, mobile/live production, studio production, media workflow, playout, and IP workflow.

As a frontrunner in the industry transition to cloud and IP, with more open IP deployments than any other vendor, Grass Valley will reiterate why it is the transformation partner of choice for its customers as they take on the challenges of the current mediascape. Booth visitors can also take an up-close look at Grass Valley’s innovations that are enabling Remote/At-Home Productions for customers globally, including the recently completed FIS Alpine World Ski Championships covered by SVT Sweden.

Showing new, creative applications for Grass Valley’s broadcast technology and expertise, center stage at SL106 will be an exciting esports competition. A collaboration with competitive gaming platform and specialist esports production company FACEIT, the Grass Valley stage will feature four professional gamers battling each other at Rocket League.
