NAB 2023: Grabyo targets broadcast productions with cloud platform updates

Grabyo will be debuting major updates to its platform at NAB 2023, including an advanced audio mixing service and hardware device integrations with customised user controls.

According to the company, these updates mean Grabyo has become the first video production platform to offer the functionality of broadcast-grade production in a cloud-native environment.

The Grabyo platform provides customers with the capabilities for high-quality broadcasting and event production, offering the flexibility to cut costs and reduce carbon emissions using remote and distributed production workflows.

The new audio mixer and routing controls will bring many of the advanced features of traditional mixing desks to its current audio system, including channel strips, paths, AFL and PFL soloing with support for mono, stereo and 5.1 surround sound outputs. It will offer customisable user configurations to optimise the audio workflow for specific events or broadcasts.

Grabyo is also releasing support for a range of hardware devices and control surfaces to streamline the transition from traditional production to the cloud. Users will be able to map hardware consoles, such as MIDI devices, to control inputs across Grabyo’s cloud platform based on individual user preferences.

These updates will be combined with Grabyo Producer‘s existing feature set for live production, which includes vision mixing, instant replay, multiviewers, remote guest contribution, broadcast graphics support and SRT, Zixi and RiST ingest/egress.

Grabyo will also showcase new releases to live clipping and publishing platform Grabyo Studio. This will include live stream logging, metadata search and Instagram Reels publishing.
