Name changes for WorldCast Group companies

The international broadcast equipment developer WorldCast Systems has announced changes to its corporate and legal identity to help improve understanding of the organisation’s structure for its customers, partners and suppliers.

As of 28 November, the company previously known as Audemat will be officially known as WorldCast Systems.

This company develops and markets three leading broadcast brands: the APT audio codec line, the Ecreso FM Transmitter range, and Audemat signal monitoring, test and remote control equipment.

From the same date, the holding company at a group level will be known as Holding WorldCast Systems.

The name WorldCast has been part of the group identity since 2009 and was chosen to represent the international scope of the company’s activities. WorldCast sells to over 100 countries worldwide and export orders count for over 80% of its annual sales.

Explaining the new changes, company president Bruno Rost explains: “We have implemented these latest changes in order to simplify our interactions with our customers and partners and make the structure of the group implicit in our name.

“Essentially we are bringing the legal structure of the group in line with our communications strategy of the past years and we believe that this will both streamline our operations and make it easier for all those who have dealings with our company.”

As part of the changes, new logos will be launched for the APT, Ecreso and Audemat product lines. The WorldCast Systems company logo remains unchanged.

All changes are purely administrative in nature and there will be no changes to the company’s staffing levels or product ranges as a result.
