New CEO for Audioprof

Due to the strong growth of the Apart Audio brand, it has become necessary to free up time for Tom Gheysens, the company’s founder, to focus more on the strategic development and the vision of the company independently of the company’s day-to-day management.

As a result, with effect from 1 September, current COO Koen Claerbout will take over the role of CEO from  Gheysens to further expand and grow the company together with its dynamic and motivated team.

Tom Gheysens will, with all his experience and passion for the audio industry, take up the role of chief strategy officer and focus on strategic challenges, opportunities and partnerships.

“The complementary roles with Koen as CEO and Tom as CSO are a logical evolution in the sustainable growth path of Apart – Audioprof. We are ready to further strengthen our position in the fixed install audio market,” say Gheysens and Claerbout.
