New general manager for NOAH Broadcast Solutions

NOAH Broadcast Solutions has announced the appointment of Philippe Van Walle as general manager, effective from today (2 September). Key to his role will be introducing the new company to the broadcast market, as well as overseeing the launch of its fully IT-based NOAH live production system for cost-effective, modular video switching.

Van Walle is a highly-regarded veteran of the broadcast industry with more than 30 years of experience. He has worked as a sales manager at top-tier technology firms Sony, Ampex and Philips, and from 2000 until his appointment at NOAH, headed the Belgian and Luxembourg operations and acted as sales director for Scandinavia, Africa and Middle-East at Thomson/Grass Valley. He is experienced in a wide variety of markets and distribution channels, and is known for placing a special focus on service and reactivity.

Philippe Van Walle is of Belgian nationality and holds a Master Degree in International Affairs and Consular Sciences of K.U.L, the Catholic University Leuven, Belgium.
