NexStreaming has announced the integration of NexPlayer player SDK into ProsiebenSat1 Android-based applications. NexPlayer enables a high quality streaming and download experience, securing the best audio and video quality on Android tablets and handsets. With this implementation, ProsiebenSat1 joins a long list of NexStreaming customers in the broadcasting industry using NexPlayer for their multiscreen applications.
NexStreaming´s player SDK for Android, Windows 8, and iOS supports HLS streaming and the latest features such as subtitles, closed captioning and time shifting. It can be easily integrated into any mobile application and it solves the problem of fragmentation in terms of device capabilities. Once integrated, NexPlayer SDK enables the given video services in all devices with HD video quality, regardless of the device maker, OS version and device model.
