Olympic Channel to present coverage for Winter Games 2026 decision

For the highly anticipated occasion to award the Olympic Winter Games 2026 to Stockholm-Åre (Sweden) or Milan-Cortina (Italy), the Olympic Channel will present live online coverage from the 134th IOC Session in Lausanne on Monday afternoon. Monday’s coverage will be highlighted by the host city announcement ceremony presided by IOC President Thomas Bach at 18:00 CET.

The Olympic Channel’s in-depth coverage from Lausanne includes the presentations of the Candidate Cities of Stockholm-Åre and Milan-Cortina, an exclusive Olympic Channel preview show, the election of the host city for the Olympic Winter Games 2026, the host city announcement ceremony and the signature of the host city contract. In addition, the Olympic Channel will have live interviews and reactions from the scene in Lausanne.
