OneFootball and Klefer to bring Copa Intelbras do Brasil to fans around the globe

Klefer, the Brazilian sports marketing agency and owner of the commercial rights of the Copa Intelbras do Brasil, has reached an agreement with Onefootball to stream live matches and on-demand highlight clips from the competition for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

From Wednesday evening (19 October), OneFootball will provide its users across the world with free-to-air coverage of all remaining Copa Intelbras do Brasil matches of the current 2021 campaign as well as 38 top games of the 2022 cup season.

The partnership will see the Copa Intelbras do Brasil shared via the OneFootball platform across the world, excluding Brazil, with Portuguese commentary. The new agreement, which also includes highlight clips of all games, will extend the international broadcast reach of Copa Intelbras do Brasil to a vast 100 million strong userbase of young and highly engaged football enthusiasts around the world.

The addition of Copa Intelbras do Brasil to OneFootball’s global free-to-air streaming offering builds on previously announced partnerships with leading top-flight domestic competitions, including Liga MX, Austrian Bundesliga, Korean K League, Scottish Premiership, Belgian Jupiler Pro League and more. OneFootball users will be able to view the Copa Intelbras do Brasil matches as part of a broader Brazilian football content experience on the platform, which features original editorial and video content from some of the country’s leading clubs that have recently joined the OneFootball Club Network, incl. Corinthians, Santos, Vasco da Gama, Internacional and more.

Nikolaus von Doetinchem, vice president of OTT & media rights at OneFootball, commented: “The Copa Intelbras do Brasil is an exciting competition which features all the top Brazilian clubs. We are thrilled to be able to bring fans across the world closer to the action through our flexible and convenient approach to live streaming. This partnership gives our young audience of football fans a new way to engage with Brazilian football and provides the Klefer with new avenues to increase Copa Intelbras do Brasil viewership and engagement.”

Eduardo Leite, chief executive officer at Klefer, added: “As commercial rights owners, we are very happy to team up with OneFootball. Like OneFootball, the Copa Intelbras do Brasil is a reference in its market, and the joining of forces only brings positive consequences for Brazilian football.

“It is another big step in our work to value the competition as a product and a great opportunity for the millions of passionate fans around the world to follow their favorite team, even living outside Brazil.”
