Panasonic unveils Image Adjust Pro to streamline production workflows

Panasonic has revealed details of its new Media Production Suite plug-in, Image Adjust Pro, which enables operators to adjust image settings for multiple studio and Panasonic PTZ cameras directly from a PC or tablet. Media Production Suite is designed to streamline and enhance professional video production workflows by bringing camera management, status monitoring and control into a unified, intuitive software platform. The plug-in is scheduled for release in Q1 CY2026.

In demanding production and broadcast environments, such as television studios and large event venues where multiple camera types are in use, teams often have limited space for installing multiple remote operation panels (ROP). Furthermore, managing image adjustment for different camera models can be complex and time-consuming.

Image Adjust Pro aims to tackles these issues through a software‑based ROP compatible with Panasonic studio and PTZ cameras. A single licence allows users to register up to 99 cameras, monitor camera status and control up to 20 cameras simultaneously from a PC or tablet. This offers a flexible and scalable alternative to hardware‑only setups. When used alongside Panasonic camera systems and hardware ROPs, the plug-in enables remote operation while reducing the need for physical equipment, helping to streamline production workflows.

The plug-in’s compatibility with Panasonic studio and PTZ cameras makes it particularly well suited to large, multi‑camera production environments. Its overview screen displays the status of every camera covered by a licence, with a panel screen emulating the layout of a hardware ROP for direct multi‑camera control.

The image‑adjustment capabilities within Image Adjust Pro match those of Panasonic’s AK‑HRP series ROP. This allows production teams to operate within a hybrid set-up, whereby primary cameras are operated via hardware ROPs, with additional units controlled through the plug-in. This reduces the number of physical ROPs required without compromising precision. In IP‑based systems, the plug-in and hardware ROPs can operate in parallel, ensuring seamless and tailored control.

Beyond the primary PC on which the plug-in is installed, Image Adjust Pro can be accessed from multiple devices on the same network – including handheld devices. This decentralised approach allows production directors to monitor camera status and manage all cameras centrally, while lighting and technical staff can adjust settings directly from their own stations. This results in increasingly flexible and collaborative workflows that remove physical constraints and enhance operational efficiency.

“With Image Adjust Pro, we’re removing long-standing barriers in multi-camera environments and giving operators the freedom to manage image control from wherever they work best. It’s a significant step forward in simplifying complex production workflows,” said André Meterian, director of professional video systems, Panasonic Europe.
