PLAZAMEDIA appoints Hardy Steinweg to new role of Products & Fulfilment Director

At the beginning of November PLAZAMEDIA appointed Hardy Steinweg  to the newly-created position of Products & Fulfillment Director. Steinweg joined PLAZAMEDIA from Red Bull Media House. In his new position, he is responsible for products, services and production management, reporting directly to Jens Friedrichs, PLAZAMEDIA´s Managing Director.

In addition to classic production activities, it also includes sophisticated and comprehensive solutions for our clients in the areas of content handling, remote production, connectivity, online video platforms and cloud services. We are delighted that with Hardy Steinweg, we have been able to find an experienced manager for this assignment, who offers special expertise in these areas. Based on this experience, he will continue to develop existing products and services at PLAZAMEDIA, orientated to customer needs.”

Hardy Steinweg joined PLAZAMEDIA from Red Bull Media House, where he held various management positions, most recently as Head of Global Production Services and previously as Head of Technical Operations and Post-production. In his last position, he was responsible for the technical equipment and personnel required for the media technology infrastructure, for implementing and optimising relevant processes, as well as for equipment and teams for international production assignments. Prior to this, he worked as a technical engineer in the areas of event production, studio sets, radio and broadcasting technology. Hardy Steinweg studied Information and Communication Technology at the Leipzig Institute of Telecommunications (HfTL).
