Quantum StorNext Connect set to debut

At this years’ IBC2014, Quantum will unveil StorNext Connect, a new way to monitor and manage StorNext deployments. The company says StorNext Connect dramatically simplifies the process of configuring systems and eases ongoing system management and health monitoring. Through StorNext Connect, customers can easily install StorNext software, upgrade StorNext clients and servers, restart clients, check status on automated tasks, and troubleshoot performance issues through real-time graphs.

Quantum will also highlight StorNext in cloud-enabled environments at IBC, building on its leadership in moving media workflows to the cloud. By working with its extensive partner ecosystem of leading media management and production automation vendors, StorNext cloud solutions enables wide-scale collaboration on content stored “in the cloud”, without disrupting users’ existing and familiar workflows.

Also during the show, Quantum will present its StorNext Pro Solutions, offering workflow storage solutions: StorNext Pro 4K for 4K production; StorNext Pro Studio for refreshing Xsan deployments; and StorNext Pro Production for content owner workflows.

All StorNext solutions are built on the power of StorNext 5, Quantum’s new generation of its award-winning storage platform.
