Racetech and Jockey Club Racecourses partner on racecourse TV and more

RaceTech, the outside broadcast and technical service provider to racing, and Jockey Club Racecourses have announced a new long term partnership.

Following its association over many years with all 15 Jockey Club Racecourses, RaceTech has signed a five year agreement to cover public address, photo finish, racecourse TV and starting
stalls.

John Bozza, chief executive at RaceTech, said: “I am delighted we have signed this agreement that supports our vision to be the technical partner of choice for UK Horse Racing. RaceTech has unrivalled experience in the delivery of these essential raceday services and we look forward to continuing and growing, our long standing relationship with The Jockey Club. ”

Paul Fisher, chief executive of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “RaceTech do a fantastic job of helping us deliver nearly 350 fixtures a year, a quarter of all racedays in Britain. Many people might not stop to think about what it takes to stage a day of racing, from providing big screen content and public address announcements to getting horses into the starting stalls for Flat racing and providing the photo finish technology.

“RaceTech are responsible for so much of what goes on behind the scenes at our racecourses and we’re delighted to continue to work with them.”
