RAI Sport 2 preparing for EXSPORT coverage

In light of EXPO 2015 and the fact that 38.6% of the population in Lombardia plays sports, the cultural production system amounts to 19 million euros while tourism is worth approximately 2.5 billion euros per year.

The theme chosen for Expo Milano 2015, ‘Feeding the planet. Energy for life’, can be represented in an effective way through sports, culture and art, as stressed by the University of Milan Bicocca, where the event was officially introduced.

It consists of a series of events dedicated to culture and sport that will culminate in 2015 with the ‘WFC World Ficts Challenge’, the culmination of an epic 20 stage, five-continent world championship that will be broadcast live for five days on RAI Sport 2.
