Rise North America appoints new head of Americas and head of sponsorship
Rise, an advocacy group for gender diversity in broadcast media technology, has welcomed Hilary Roschke as North American chair of board and Jill Porubovic as head of sponsorship. Former co-chairs Serena Harris and Meghan Ross will remain on the board.
Roschke has almost 20 years’ experience within the media industry in operational and strategic leadership roles and is currently vice president of strategic operations at SDVI. She has been a driving force behind organisational and technological change, operational efficiency and increased business value/ROI in the media industry. Roschke’s commitment to mentorship will help Rise build relationships and drive North American membership and programme expansion.
With a well-earned reputation as a difference maker and builder of cultures, Porubovic has built a career of leadership success by delivering human-centred transformation across industries, including many years at Discovery. Founder of Jill Porubovic Consulting, she draws upon more than 20 years’ of technology and operations leadership experience and is also a trusted adviser to companies across the evolving media and entertainment space.
